The time we have all been waiting for is finally here! Our first peony stems were harvested yesterday, and we anticipate that based on weather, we will go into full harvest mode starting in two days.
To help keep everyone better informed this season, we have decided to try a weekly Farm Updates newsletter starting June 29th and running until the end of August. The purpose of this newsletter is to keep our customers and flower friends informed of our peony availability and specific harvest timing, as well as providing a brief update of how things are going on Sunrise Farm. We don't want to inundate folks with emails, but we wanted to keep you informed, and streamline communications during this busy time. At this time, it looks like our first Tanana Valley Farmer's Market will be Saturday, July 4th! If you are in Fairbanks, please stop by between 9am-4pm, we would love to say "Hi" and share a little flower love with you!
We also sell peonies direct from our field during the week, so swing by if you are driving through Goldstream Valley. We will have a booth set up for purchases following all CDC guidelines, and as always a stroll through our fields is free! Please stop by to smell the flowers, just be respectful of our workers and others by practicing social distancing.
