This past week was a full one here at Sunrise Farm! With Fairbanks temperatures soaring well into the 80's each day, Alaska Peony Flowers was kept busy boxing and shipping orders for weddings in the lower 48, while the fields are still being harvested for Elsa Sass, a gorgeous, white bomb, and the latest of our farm's cultivars to boom.
We had a great showing at the Farmer's Market on Saturday, and today's Wednesday Market is going well too!
This past Sunday we celebrated a big birthday for one of our farm's founding members. Our small gathering of family and friends enjoyed an almost entirely farm-raised meal, and we laughed and told stories for hours under the midnight sun! It was wonderful to have the whole family together again, even just for a few days!
Sunrise Farm's peony harvest is coming to a close, but we still have a wide variety of beautiful blooms waiting in our chiller for someone to snatch them up!
